Permanent Outdoor Lighting

One install. Every night. Every season.

Permanent Outdoor Lighting install

Permanent outdoor lighting is the modern replacement for everything you have ever climbed a ladder for. A single, professionally installed system, mounted into the eaves and rooflines of your home, that runs every night of the year on a schedule and shifts to a color scene any time you want one. No ladders. No tangled extension cords. No box of dead bulbs from last December in the garage.

We install permanent lighting because it is the right fit for the way Placer County homeowners actually live outside. You want the home to look composed at dusk on a regular Tuesday, not just on December 14. You want to flip on a holiday scene without renegotiating with the lights every season. You want the result to look architectural, not bolted on.

One system, every season.

The system runs a single warm-white scene as its baseline. That alone is reason enough for most homes, because warm-white outlines on rooflines and eaves are what makes a property look intentional after sundown. From there, every preset is one tap on the app: holiday colors, sports team palettes, party scenes, birthday personalization, even a low ambient blue for a quiet evening on the patio.

Schedule the system to come on at sunset and turn off at midnight. Or run it as a porch-light replacement until dawn. We program the schedule with you during commissioning and you tweak it from your phone after that.

Commercial-grade, not big-box.

The fixtures we specify are commercial-grade with weatherproof housings, sealed connectors, and a low-voltage feed routed through a hub mounted in the garage or a utility space. Aluminum channel, color-matched to the eave where possible, hides the run during the day and supports the fixtures cleanly. The result reads as architectural trim, not as a strand.

We will not specify a fixture we are not comfortable warrantying. That has ruled out a number of manufacturers that look attractive on paper but fail in field conditions. If you would like to discuss the specific manufacturer and series we are using on your install, we will walk through it in the proposal.

Where the lights go.

Most installs cover the primary roofline of the home, plus optional secondary lines on garages, gables, dormers, and pitched accents. Walkways, trees, and architectural features like columns can be added with matching system fixtures so everything runs from the same controller. We do this often, and the integration is the part that separates a serious permanent install from a kit of lights bought online.

We do not over-light. A permanent system that is too bright reads as commercial. A system that is properly specified reads as residential, designed, and grown-up.

How it gets installed.

A typical single-family install runs one full day onsite, sometimes two for larger or more architecturally complex homes. The process is: site walk and design review, channel mounting, fixture install, low-voltage routing, controller mount in a garage or utility area, network configuration, and a final dial-in session with you on the app.

You leave the install with the system already programmed for your everyday scene plus three to five seasonal presets. After that, the system is yours to drive from your phone. We are a phone call away whenever you want help adding a new scene or troubleshooting a fixture.

Service after the install.

Permanent installs come with a labor warranty on top of the manufacturer warranty on the fixtures. Anything that fails in the warranty period is on us. Beyond that, we offer service-call rates for any addition or adjustment and we keep your system on file so we know exactly what is on the home if you call us in three years.
